The 10 wafer version of the ERmet zeroXT type 4 male connector provides 40 contact pairs (80 signal contacts and 40 ground contacts). This series supports two levels of sequential mating.

The male type 4 offers SMT termination for the signal pins and THR termination for the ground pins to provide very low cross-talk, low skew and improved trace routing. The "C" shaped shields are robust mechanical structures that provide an ideal differential environment as well as protecting the signal pins.
