Erni-Supply-Chain-Management-Net
In the future a constantly increasing competitive pressure requires a much
more intensive and close co-operation between supplier and customer. The improvement
of the communication structure and the easier method of providing information
for everyone involved is the main target of the ERNI-SCM-Net.
Registered suppliers have the opportunity to query important information and
data by themselves from selected ERNI data bases. Furthermore, communication
processes will not be that time-consuming anymore and, therefore, cost will
be saved in the departments involved. Partnership project work will be optimized
by the use of electronic information and communication systems.
Following features are planned:
- Order confirmation directly from our supplier
- Data base with drawings -> supplier can query new drawings himself
- Enquiry per eMail -> supplier can query concerning drawings himself
- Information about inventory -> supplier can place an relevant order
himself if inventory falls below a critical mark - Common project management -> List with tasks, dates, and so on for
the supplier and ERNI. - Supplier assessment -> individual results and ranking
