Sales Engineer for Southeast Asia

ERNI is serving a fast growing number of local companies and branches of MNC in Telecom, Industrial Automation and Instrumentation as well as CEM companies in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
To further penetrate those markets we are looking for a young professional stationed in one of those three countries and willing to travel frequently within the region.
We are flexible regarding nationality and home base of the applicant.
The new staff member will report to our Regional Sales Manager South East Asia and India stationed at our regional Headquarter in Singapore

Sales Engineer for Southeast Asia

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain business with existing and new customers in the region.
  • Provide technical support (presentation, design-in, spec-in, quality issue etc.) for customers and distributors
  • Solve customer’s technical issues by providing appropriate solutions for a wide spectrum of design challenges.
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solution.
  • marketing intelligence functions (market surveys, competitor information)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, communication or electronics
  • 2-5 years experience in the connector industry or in the industries for electromechanical or passive components are a advantage, but also fresh graduates can apply as trainees
  • Strong in cultivating/developing customer relationship
  • Good communication skills; good spoken and written English; any other language like Malay, Thai or Chinese is a advantage
  • PC skills
  • Responsible, initiative, Teamplayer
